Important update for EmailAsUsername customers using RedShop and Virtuemart

Any customer using EmailAsUsername with either Virtuemart or Redshop should upgrade to the latest version of the EmailAsUsername system plugin (2.6.47) as soon as possible.

For Redshop users

Anyone using version 1.1.9 of Redshop, or is planning on upgrading to 1.1.9 should upgrade to EmailAsUsername 2.6.47 of the system plugin. This is available for download in the download area.

For Virtuemart 1.1.x Users

A bug has been identified which can cause problems if you want to manually edit ps_userfield.php. The problem results in changes to this file being overwritten if any change is made to the Virtuemart configuration.

Before upgrading

Please make sure you take a complete backup of your site. We recommend Akeeba, which can be downloaded from here:
