I have been busy working on the next major version of EmailAsUsername... its gonna be great folkes. Expect that in the next month or so. In the mean time, a problem has been raised when registering users like O'Maley or other names that include apostrophies. In this case registration may fail. Updating is advised.
For Joomla 1.5: Update your system plugin to version 2.6.57 of the system plugin. The authentication plugin is unaffected
For Joomla versions 1.6, 1.7 or 2.5, update to version 3.66 of the system plugin. Again, the authentication plugin is unaffected.
